TWISTER HAS BEEN CONSIGNED TO THE SPRING
'TWO EYED JACK' SALE
HELD IN OLDS ALBERTA ON APRIL 24, 2010
i have been riding twister and i am 4 1/2 months pregnant. no worries working with him. i will continue to ride him as long as i can get up there.
April 15st 2009 Twister stands 15+ hands. A twist of pepto is a good looking horse. He has great confirmation, loves people and is a joy to have around. He is great with his feet, head and easy to catch. This gelding is by "Tummy Gun' (pictured below) who is by 'Tums' (pictured below), who is by the great PEPTOBOONSMAL (pictures below). Tummy gun is out of Guthrie Gun (pictured below) who is by PLAY GUN. Twister's mom is a great mare by Badgers Royalite a NCHA money earning stud by Peppy San Badger. who is owned by jason Hanson. She is a double bred dry doc mare. He had 60 days riding on him as a 2 year old by Dale Dodd. then rode all though his 3 year old year.
March 2010 - Twister has a huge stop on him and is very willing athletic and easy mover, smooth to ride at all gates, as soft in the mouth as they come and tons of cow sense. He spent the last 6 months in a 9000 head feedlot. He will work all day every day. Kick him out for a month or so bring him back in and put him to work he is the same as when you left him. Has been rode on lots of trail rides, indoor and outdoor pens by himself or with others, been following the heel-o-matic. Lots of get up and go easy to handle and control, with a huge stop. He is a natural flying lead changer, smooth and willing lots of speed and cow. Great for working cow horse, penning, cutting or barrel racing. Quiet enough for an all around. Dental, vaccinations, Ferrier and deworming up to date.
He is working so good that i am thinking i will show him in the ranch hand cutting classes as well as the working cow horse classes next year.
currenlty being rode in the 9000 head feedlot.
lots of speed and cow. great for working cow horse, penning, cutting or barrel racing. Quiet enough for a all around.
Asking $ 5000.00 price will go up as does his training.

I AM 4 1/2 MONTH PREGNANT AND HAVE BEEN RIDING ROXY. NO ISSUES WITH THIS ONE. A JOY TO WORK WITH AND RIDE.
This mare had 120+ days riding on her by Will Speight as a 2 year old. then she was kicked out to pasture for 8 months(because i was pregnant). She came back into training in January 2009 and has been rode pretty steady sence. She is currently working the flag, mechanical cow, the cuttin critter, buffalo, live cattle and we have been roping off of her. We took her out to a couple of brandings to sort and move pairs, also to move cows to pasture. July we rode her in a ranch rodeo (penning, sorting, loading, branding, doctoring). Then used her in a FCA rodeo to move stock all day. Nobody could believe that she is only 3 years old. We had a bunch of compliments on her. Acts and looks like a way older horse. Very calm and relaxed even when thing got a little hairy. Has the mind set of a 6 or 7 year old.
Worked like a pro. She is well put together has a great mind and is very willing.
lots of cow and expression for a cutter or a working cow horse. Nice turn arounds and stops for a reiner. She is big and solid enough to make a great heading horse, so we will also be starting to rope the heel-o-matic on her this winter.
Roxy has had her teeth done, is up to date on all shots and her de-worming. She has really grown up 15 + hands.
Feb. 2009 we have Roxy entered in a working cow horse clinic with Vance Kaglea.
- the clinic was great. We did a couple flying lead changes, worked buffalo, and cattle. We circled, went down the fence and boxed with her. She has a lot of cow and speed.
May 2 and 3 we were in a Dale Dodd cutting horse clinic worked great.
May 30 and 31 we went going to a Garth Sheehan working cow horse clinic. Might be able to make the fururites in working cow horse. flying lead changes, spins, stops and circles are all there just need to fine tune and built on some stuff. Cow work is awsome. Boxing nothing is getting past her. Fence work she loves to run and rate. Circling needs a bit of work but it is coming together. I am going to keep working her and see where we end up this fall.
June we are haeding out to the mountains for a week. Carmen rode Roxy they got along great. We also took her to some branding and did a bunch of sorting off and bring cattle in with her. She is a working machine with a great mind.
July we are entered in a couple ranch rodeos. July 14th. So look for her on the heeling end of a steer, sorting, penning and loading. We are also going to use her at the Dog Pound Stamped on July 15th to move stock. she is fun to ride. Nobody could believe that she is only 3 years old. We had a bunch of compliments on her. Acts and looks like a way older horse. Very calm and relaxed even when thing got a little hairy. Has the mind set of a 6 or 7 year old.
September - we are headed out to the mountains again. Carmen will be riding Roxy (he has not rode sence June). He loves her they just take care of each other. I am thinking about showing her in the ranch hand classes the end of september and again at the lst show in october. she will be rode in the feedlot untill the pens get icy.
